Part 4 — Programme Terms and Conditions

18. Registration and payment

Progressing Minds AS would appreciate receiving registrations and full payment thereof 30 days ahead of the start of the programme. However, we accept paid registrations for a viable session through the day before the programme begins.

Registrations can be made online at www.progressingminds.com or by contacting post@progressingminds.com for a link to the Registration Form. Registrations are confirmed upon receipt of full payment of fees. In the meantime, an Acknowledgement of Reservations will be issued via email upon receipt of the 1,000 NOK non-refundable registration fee. Once full payment is received, an email will be issued confirming the registrant’s seat in the programme.

Please note we do not arrange travel or hotel accommodations for participants. When possible, we reserve a block of rooms at the suggested hotel(s). Participants should contact the suggested hotel directly for room rates and availability at least three weeks before the programme begins. Remember to mention that you are attending a Progressing Minds programme to receive a discounted rate, if applicable. Please note: if a programme venue changes for whatever reason, the participant or their representative will be contacted via email.

19. Programme fees

A non-refundable registration fee of 1,000 NOK is required to secure a booking. Full payment of programme fees is due and payable in Norwegian Krone (unless otherwise stated), normally within 10 business days of receipt of invoice, and no later than 15 business days before the first day of the session.

For registrations submitted less than 15 business days before the session, full payment of fees is due immediately; otherwise, a spot in the session cannot be guaranteed. Please contact Progressing Minds if you cannot meet the payment requirements, as registrations are not automatically cancelled when payment is not received.

Programme fees do not include evening meals, living costs, or hardware such as computers, microphones, or web cameras. Participants are responsible for providing and testing their own hardware and internet connection before the session.

Fees include the programme, the purchase price of programme materials, daily refreshments, and a 1,000 NOK non-refundable registration fee for each 5 days of training or less.

Note: Where applicable due to government regulations, Value Added Tax (VAT / MVA in Norway) will be added to the total programme fees. Pricing is subject to change. See website for current pricing and availability.

20. Programme requirements and specifications

Technology Requirements

Participants will need a computer, telephone, and internet connection to enjoy a fully interactive learning experience through PIN Programmes.

Class Recording

To allow registered participants to review aspects of their own training session and to ensure that the training provided meets Progressing Minds standards, Progressing Minds may record the session for programme quality and improvement. Progressing Minds reserves the right, without payment of consideration, to videotape, film, photograph and / or record programme sessions and programme participants in any media type, and to alter or edit these images for use in its publications, including website entries.

Prohibitions

The use of any recording device (audio or video) by participants during a Progressing Minds programme is strictly prohibited. The unauthorised use of a recording device during a Progressing Minds programme presentation shall constitute grounds for removing the participant and confiscating or destroying the recording.

No portion of any Progressing Minds programme may be recorded digitally, on film, videotape, audio tape or other recording device, or be reproduced photographically or by any sight or sound device. All Progressing Minds programme presentations are the sole property of Progressing Minds.

21. Cancellations, refunds, transfers, and substitutions

A minimum of 30 days’ notice is required to cancel an enrolment; otherwise, the full programme fee is forfeited or remains due if not already paid.

Cancellation requests received 30 business days or more before participants receive their programme materials will be honoured, and the programme fee will be refunded, less the non-refundable registration fee mentioned above.

Substitutions may be made at any time without penalty. A transfer is permitted if notice is given within 15 business days, full payment has already been received, and the requested programme is open for enrolment. Please contact Progressing Minds if you need to transfer or make a substitution. If a transfer is made and the subsequent programme is not attended, no money will be refunded. Only one transfer per initial registration is allowed.

If it is necessary to cancel an enrolment of a fully paid programme, the payment — less the non-refundable registration fee of 1,000 NOK per five days of training or less — will be refunded, provided the cancellation is received in our office 30 days or more prior to the programme start date.

If the programme is not paid for at the time of cancellation, the 1,000 NOK registration fee per 5 days of training or less is due, provided the 30-day notice was received. For cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the programme, the full programme fee is due.

Please contact Progressing Minds if you wish to cancel or transfer your enrolment. Enrolments are not automatically cancelled if programme payment is not received by the start of the programme.

We reserve the right to cancel any programme session at any time. This decision is usually made approximately two weeks before the programme begins. If we cancel a programme, enrollees will have the opportunity to transfer to another programme or receive a full refund, provided their enrolment was not transferred into the cancelled programme late.

Please keep our cancellation policy in mind when making travel arrangements (airline tickets, hotel reservations, etc.), as we cannot be responsible for any fees charged for cancelling or changing your travel and accommodation arrangements. We reserve the right to substitute programme instructors as necessary.

22. Certificates

A Certificate of Completion is awarded to each participant who satisfactorily completes the programme and will be awarded by the instructor(s) on the final day.

23. Disclaimer

Progressing Minds and Nashater Deu Solheim reserve the right, without payment of consideration, to videotape, film, photograph and/or record programme sessions and programme participants in any media type, and to alter or edit these images for use in their publications, including website entries.

Progressing Minds and Nashater Deu Solheim may use participant contact information (mail, email, telephone) for the following limited purposes: (i) to provide updated class information; (ii) to request your help in evaluating Progressing Minds programmes and materials; and (iii) to provide information concerning future programme offerings.
